Tours must be booked and paid for in advance. Full payment is required to secure your reservation. We accept major credit cards, PayPal, and Norwegian mobile payments.

2. Cancellation Policy

Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the tour start time. Cancellations within 24 hours are subject to 50% charge. No-shows are non-refundable.

3. Weather Policy

Tours operate in most weather conditions as Norway's beauty shines in all seasons. In case of extreme weather conditions, we reserve the right to cancel or modify tours for safety reasons.

4. Safety and Liability

Participants join tours at their own risk. Oslo Nordic Tours carries comprehensive insurance but is not liable for personal injury or loss of personal property.

5. Age Restrictions

Some tours have minimum age requirements. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Northern Lights tours may not be suitable for very young children.

Free Cancellation

Cancellations within 24 hours of tour start time will be charged 50% of the tour price. This policy helps us manage our resources and commitments to guides.

No-Show Policy

Guests who fail to appear for their scheduled tour without prior notice will be charged the full tour price.

Weather Cancellations

If we cancel a tour due to extreme weather conditions (rare in Norway!), you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule at no additional cost.

Northern Lights Tours

Northern Lights visibility depends on weather and solar activity. If Northern Lights are not visible, tours will still proceed with other winter activities. No refunds for poor visibility.

Health and Fitness Requirements

Please inform us of any medical conditions or mobility restrictions before booking. Norwegian terrain can be challenging and tours involve walking on uneven surfaces in various weather conditions.

Age Restrictions

Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Northern Lights tours require participants to be at least 8 years old due to late evening schedules and cold weather conditions.

Weather Gear and Clothing

We provide appropriate winter gear for cold-weather tours. Guests should dress in layers and wear appropriate footwear. We recommend waterproof clothing for fjord cruises.

Food Allergies and Dietary Restrictions

Please inform us of any allergies or dietary restrictions when booking. Norwegian cuisine accommodates most dietary needs with advance notice, including vegetarian and seafood-free options.

Emergency Procedures

All our guides are trained in first aid and mountain safety. Emergency contact information is collected at the start of each tour. We maintain direct communication with Norwegian emergency services.

Insurance Coverage

Oslo Nordic Tours carries comprehensive public liability insurance. We recommend travelers have their own travel insurance for personal belongings and medical coverage while in Norway.
